How is it that Andy Murray can easily beat Nadal and Federer in nothing tournaments but doesn't come near to beating them in Grand Slam events? Is it that he hasn't the pressure of a Country's expectation or that Nadal and Federer raise their games when it really matters? I think Murray was motivated to go all out to win in Toronto for two reasons to keep his 4th rank and to defend his title which he won last year. Nadal and Federer always raise their game in the grand slams. Plus the players have to win 3 sets out of 5 and play 7 matches unlike the Masters series 2 out of 3 stets and just 5 matches so it's a different ball game. So far Murray has never won a grand slam but if he plays the same level of tennis as last week he has a very good chance in the USOpen.
