As usual, we've updated. (If only my updates here were as regular as my updates on the FC!!) Tons of things added since my last post in this thread, and I figure most of you know about the updates anyway. But if you're new here and never been to the FC, there has never been a better time to visit than now. In the last month, we've added THIRTEEN videos, including the 2nd Green Flag advert- the first fan site on the 'net to do so! (And the only site as far as we can tell that has given you the link to the THIRD advert!!) This week, we've added one more video to the collection. Check out the awesome Maid Marian fight scene from "Robin Hood"! Oh, my! (And you have to check out RM's icon below!) Though we still have a fair amount of source material left from which to make clips, we'll be doing so with less regularity in the future. In fact, we're going to hold off uploading anything else until we get these free DVDs out. We'd like to "reward" those who took the time to contact us and support the idea by not making too many bits and pieces available online. However, once September rolls around, we'll most likely start uploading again, temporarily on the FC site, and permanently on our YouTube account. Links you need to know: 3rd Green Flag advert

Whoa, did I totally miss August? So here we are- September. RM has done a gorgeous desktop calendar for the month, did 17 new icons (Bad Girls, Born and Bred, Coming up for Air, Green Flag), AND took a selection of quotes from the latest AfterEllen interview and incorporated them into the stone banner you see at the top of each FC page. We've had about a dozen more requests for the DVDs (the "second wave" as we're calling it) and RM will get to those as time allows. She does all the work, folks. She also goes to college, and (this is a wink to top cat) has a life. But we're set on getting these DVDs out to anyone who asks; in return, all we ask for is a bit of patience. Check out the site at: mandanafc.com!

I haven't been updating this thread simply because I figure those who visit here already know about the FC and visit it, too. Didn't know where else to put this, so I thought I'd put it here, as it's a bit of a cast-off idea I had for the FC and never got around to figuring out the program. It's a Slide Puzzle. Just a bit of time-consuming fun. (My best time is 1:49, but interestingly enough, I have to do it with the number hints. I just cannot seem to wrap my head around figuring it out based on picture pieces alone.)

I gave up after 6 mins..will try again tomorrow when i'm not so tired LOL! I made it into a 3x3 puzzle; that might be a bit easier. (For me, 77 moves, 42 seconds. )

I mentioned it in another thread, but for those who might have missed it- we've removed all the video files from the FC and replaced them with embedded YouTube clips. That means you no longer have to save the file to your computer, you can simply watch them directly from the FC page. We started this with "Powers" and decided it would be easier for everyone to do it with the rest of the clips we have on YouTube!
Speaking of "Powers", all 13 episodes have been uploaded to both the FC and YouTube, so be sure to check that out if you haven't had the chance to see this charming series.

I loved the Flying penguin story I will hold my hands up and say that I watched that piece of film in complete awe. I, then, logged on to the BBC website to see 'more' as recommended on the footage, only to see it was an April fool. My excuse is that it was at tea time (April Fool deadline is midday) after a long day at work and was shown in a similar vein to all those other 'Your BBC' type trailers. Anway, I believed it

The flying penguins were definitely awesome. They didn't fool me, though, only because I was looking for jokes everywhere! I managed to stay un-tricked until late last night when I read at Dark Horizons that Michael Bay was re-making The Exorcist. I was outraged until I noticed there was a link to the Wikipedia page about April Fools Day.

I'm not normally caught out, RM, but I got caught twice this year. It must be my age.

I must admit my first thought was that Penguins dont fly but then it looked so convincing..then my next thought was it looked very CGI..then I remembered the date.
