Are there any art house movie fans here? We used to have an art house theatre here in Hamilton called The Broadway, but it closed down quite a while ago. What have you seen lately?

We used to have an art house theatre here in Hamilton called The Broadway, but it closed down quite a while ago. What have you seen lately? I am fortunate to have a city art museum with a film center that hosts an annual international film festival. So there are many directors and styles to enjoy or ponder. Recent views: Bergman - The Magician Lynch - Inland Empire None are recent releases but are all good, in my opinion. Does Fassbinder count? Have seen a few of his german films but can't remember much as it was ages ago when I was takng a couple of courses in german! Forgotten the little german I learnt too! Mike Leigh's Career Girls I remember liking when I saw some years back. Haven't seen the two you have listed tho.

Two thumbs up for Inception. Written and directed by Christopher Nolan starring Leo DiCaprio but with great performances by Ellen Page, Cillian Murphy and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The ultimate corporate espionage, stealing information directly from a person's mind while they are asleep. www.youtube.com/watch?v=66TuSJo4dZM&feature=relatedHaven't seen Inception as I thought it's a scifi type of movie. But after listening to this particular soundtrack www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0kGAz6HYM8now I'm tempted to see it.
