I know this show has been televised in the UK and received some very favorable reviews. I was checking the TV schedule for this weekend. And Downton Abbey is on tomorrow night and next three sundays. I disliked both Remains of the day and Gosford Park. So I'm hoping Downton Abbey will be different. Anyway I'll let you know my impressions soon ;D

That's all I'm going to say. ;D If you are a fan of Mr Bonneville, jilly, you might want to check out the most recent adaptation of Murder on the Orient Express. It was shown on British TV over Christmas. I thought it was a very good version and filled in a few gaps the book doesn't cover. David Suchet, as Poirot, was excellent as always.

I've seen Mr Bonneville in a few things but he didn't really make much of an impression on me. But in DA from his appearance on the scene I was attracted to his character. I missed the latest Poirot which was shown here last summer but hope for a repeat show soon. Actually now I remember seeing a couple of new Poirot episodes but with some changes in cast. Zoe Wanamaker was in and Poirot's loyal friend Hastings and his secretary Miss Lemon was out which changed the whole show and became less interesting to me atleast.

In episode2 I was wondering if anyone had any reaction to that Turkish attaché Kemal Pamuk taking Mary's mild flirtation as a come-on. The way he blunders in her bedroom at night and cajoles her in submission and then drops dead on her Anyway why does Mary only summon Anna and Cora to help her remove the body but not her dad? The way they go about moving Pamuk's body back to his room like they're guilty and behaving all hush in their own home. Afterall the house is enormous and rooms are spread far apart so nobody is going hear much. So what do we have here: An Irish driver A Scottish doctor A foreigner(turkish) diplomat who takes a no as an yes An American financier-Cora Mr Julian Fellowes is one subtle chap!
