We've decided to delete Dasolution's fan fiction post because, well, it was pretty bad. No need to clog up the board with stuff like that, yeah?

For future reference, our policy on fic posts will be to delete them. We have nothing against fan fiction at all, but since this is a Mandana Jones board and not a Bad Girls board, we feel that fan fiction really has no relevance here and we'd like to keep the discussion of her work grounded in what's actually onscreen, instead of veering off into hypothetical situations.

I'll leave this topic open in case anyone has some concerns about our policy or would like to discuss the action that's been taken with Dasolution's post.

Yeah, it was pretty bad. That particular FF was kicked off the N/H board after some members complained.

I agree that FF does not have it's place here. It is all Mandana love yeh?

well, I don't think you would want to read it wadwannabe. I only skimmed it on here, after seeing the banning elsewhere, and it appeared to commit the ultimate sin of muddying fact and fiction and naming Mandana and Simone within it. I get the impression, from comments on other boards where it was posted, that it was also rather sick and insulting. From the little I read it was also incredibly badly written.

Ok, as everyone can see, Dasolution has decided to post a link to her fan fiction site. After considerable discussion, we've come to a conclusion.

Despite the grossly offensive content, we're leaving the link up so that board members who choose to check it out have the opportunity to decide for themselves whether or not the site is worth their time. We're not the censorship police, but we do want to warn people that the probability of being offended is very high.

We hope this is the right decision for everyone here. If not, feel free to let us know and we can all discuss the matter further.

I managed the first two sentences of one of the 'things' and that did it for me. What a load of offensive tripe!

As noted above, our first ban! There's a difference between sly sarcasm and outright offense, and dasolution crossed it. (Though I'm sure it can be said dasolution crossed it a long time ago with their disgusting attempt at fiction writing.)

So, dasolution has been banned indefinitely, and this thread will be locked, as it no longer serves any purpose.

If anyone has any questions or comments about this banning or anything else, feel free to either start an open thread or PM either me or romanmachine.
