$85 for an 8x10 photo?? Must be nice to have that kind of disposable income!

It's a nice photo but you'd have to be bonkers to pay that sort of money - it's not even autographed. Mind you, if it went for nearly £60 today imagine how much it would have fetched 10 years ago at the height of BG Regardless, MJFC is again the first to post this new find. Well done.

It's funny, because of course we were following the auction and I told RomanMachine that I would bid $25 at the most (it would have ended up around $30 with shipping). So it sat there at $12 for a bit and I thought that was a good sign we had a chance. $25 now seems like a quaint limit. ;D The day before the auction was over, the price went nuclear and both RM and I agreed that there was no way we could justify that cost. That's a day's worth of pay for me and almost 6 months worth of Setanta Sports! And we're often first to post new things because we have wonderful people behind the scenes who do a not-underappreciated amount of digging for us.

I am
a) surprised at the lack of comment on here b) amazed that it hasn't appeared elsewhere with either a great fanfare as some mystery donation or slipped in as if it was there all the time c) not been posted on other mb's by someone who's seen it here - 10 days must be a record!
You could say that it's because interest has wained due to Mandana's low profile these days but, clearly, given the huge sum of money paid for this item, that is not the case.

Mobike, leatherclothes-not a big fan but Mandana looks good. Just a question...is this a private picture as in taken in real life and not in some TV series like London Bridge? And if in real life did it mean Mandana mobiked around London in the past? As for no reaction elsewhere probably discussed by private-messaging. Don't want to give the impression that they read MJFC. More strange is the silence regarding Simone's big move to America! Considering the detailed analysis regarding her.

It's a confusing contrast, this lack of interest she's generating these days (which in itself is understandable, given the lack of work she's done), and yet this picture got loads of interest. I wonder if the seller was surprised! Jilly, I think you're right- if she is getting the interest of other people, it's privately. Oh, and as far as I know, based on the information the seller gave, it was a press photo for London Bridge, which I take it to mean was professionally done.

Thanks to an MJFC visitor for sending us a fixed version of the eBay photo! (Ah, the things you can do with PhotoShop and talent! ;D)
