While we're not inclined to run this board with an iron fist, we can't NOT have some kind of guideline. So, here it is:
1. First and foremost, this is a Mandana Jones board. This isn't a "Bad Girls" board nor a Simone Lahbib board. While we know the show plays a large part in MJ's career (and heck, that's how RomanMachine and I got interested in the first place), it's not the only thing. We acknowledge that the BG folder will probably get the most traffic; however, we're going to try and keep topics as they pertain to MJ/Nikki Wade. That's why there's no fan fic section, no SL section, etc.
2. While we are the Karma Police (*grin*), we're not the Grammar Police. Typos and mistakes are made and that's okay. That being said, we DO ask that you make an effort to use proper spelling and punctuation, to the best of your ability. In addition to this, abbreviations are fine ("LOL", "IIRC", etc.), but we ask that the use of chat speak ("u", "thnx", "s rsly", etc.) is avoided.
3. No flame-baiting. Basically, no personal attacks, either against fellow posters or other folks.
4. Apparently, there is a warning system set up on this board. We haven't had a chance to test it (volunteers?
), but we'll go with that if it's up and running. Regardless, we'll work on a 3-strikes-you're-out rule. You will be notified you've been warned and why.
5. That being said, it's going to take a hell of a lot to get banned from this board. We might mod the board, but we have no intention of lording it over everyone else.
Reasons to get Banned:
-trolling
-flame-baiting
-excessive use of chat speak/obvious laziness in spelling, etc.
and... yeah. That's about it.

Most importantly, for those who haven't visited www.mandanafc.com, I think it's key to remember that we like to approach most things with a pretty light-hearted attitude. We have no problem laughing at ourselves and our obsessions, and we certainly have no problem good-naturedly laughing at an actress who seems comfortable laughing at herself. Let's try and find a balance between appreciation and good humour!
