According to BFI Film & TV database: Prod start date-1999. TV release date-12/12/2001. Duration-15 mins.(3 mins for adverts,I suppose) Mandana could've filmed it during her break just before starting the second series of BG. So that explains her slightly longer hair. I'm just speculating.

BTW, someone called toniM has posted this appearance by Mandana on the blue site and with a link to here. I wondered how long it would take before it made its debut on there? No response as yet from the powers that be! I shall be watching that space.

No response as yet from the powers that be! I shall be watching that space. I saw that and have to admit I was quite surprised that it was linked to the FC and not to the RogueFilms site. I screen-capped that post for amusement, on the off-chance it happens to get edited/deleted. I'm not sure why Rogue Films has the release date of 2003- perhaps it refers to its first national airing? But yeah, it certainly was made while she was still doing Bad Girls.

No response as yet from the powers that be! I shall be watching that space. It amazes me that nobody has commented on it yet..but it has had 90 views I suspect any number of things, gingercat. 1. Because MJFC was specifically named, no one wants to get their noses smacked with a rolled up paper by the higher ups for implying the link was actually used. 2. Because of the fallout with me, RM, and Splodgy, we're the "bad guys" over there and no one wants to admit to visiting our site. Or they just refuse to do it out of some kind of odd sense of loyalty. 3. The admiration for Mandana outside of her role as Nikki has never really been as overt as it has been for Simone. Simone could do an advert advocating the benefits of eating puppies and some people would consider it a masterpiece of acting. Fair enough, people admire who they admire. But certainly there has been a fairly clear line between interest in Mandana outside of Bad Girls as opposed to Simone. That is to say, if it's not about Nikki, most posters over there don't seem to care. And quite frankly, can you blame them? If the webmasters of an (alleged) MJ site can't be bothered to show interest, why should they?

Yep, 2 days and not one comment about Mandana appearing in something with Daniel Craig despite 108 views now. Very, very odd. And yet, for the first time in months, a Mandana related thread has been started. Coincidence? As proof of this, it appears there was an extra scene or something in WITB when it was shown on BBCA and this has resulted in comments and yet, a new piece of Mandana material and...nada. I think there was more interest in and comments made when Simone did not get a part in the Fat Slags film and her dental work than Mandana appearing in something with a James Bond And that is what I just don't get, I'm afraid. I find the actress behind Nikki far, far more interesting than that character. Call me strange..... Autographed print anyone? ?

Amazing 384 views & still no 'official' comment. Do you think that 'real life' has caught up & nobody has noticed the thread yet

We've got some screen caps up if you're interested in checking those out. As with everything else we do, we're not interested in getting every. Single. Shot. Available. For this one, we figured 11 would be enough- basically one for every 5 seconds she was on-screen! We, meaning RomanMachine, have been working on transferring the file to a format that will allow you to download it to your own computer. It's a tricky process, so we hope you'll be patient. When we have it, so will you. (And then, so will mj.net. *zing!* )

Yes, really nice screen caps. They are all flattering and in focus. Yeah! Interestingly, someone has posted on the elephant in the room and made a slight dig at the fact that the clip is not available on that site. Done very politely, though. It would also appear that the Rogue Film site link to OS is not working and so it can't be viewed at the moment. Wonder if that clip has received the most hits?? You know, from all 453 people who have viewed the elephant but have no interest Ooops, I do not in any way mean that Mandana is an elephant.

What seems to have happened is, the original url of Rogue Films ended in ".co.uk". The new site is now ".com". There was/is probably a transition period between the two prefixes, because now, if you type in "roguefilms.co.uk", it will take you back to the OLD site. The complete url of www.roguefilms.com/#/moresection/shorts will NOT take you to the film at the moment! You have to go the long way round by starting at www.roguefilms.com, then clicking the links along the way. ("enter", "more", "shorts". Which, when said aloud, is a bit dirty. )

Thanks, Top!
I noticed that about the OS link. All the non-interest was just too much for 'em. But, don't worry, the film will soon be showing up on our You Tube account (and probably other places soon after) for all the world to see. ;D

I particularly liked the ones where Mandana is tilted her head a bit downwards with a hint of smile on her face. Beautiful. Thanx.

YouTube doesn't allow videos over 10 minutes, so as with the radio interview slide shows, we've put this one up on DailyMotion. Yep, RomanMachine, diligent "I-will-figure-this-out-dammit!" computer whiz figured out how to save the file. She's going to try and come up with a more user-friendly format so that you guys can save it to your own computer, but we won't be doing that until the next update. We also won't be putting the video up on the website until the next update, but we're going to post the link here as a way of saying thanks to those who come and check out the messageboard. Even if you're just a lurker. Our copy of 'Occasional, Strong' on Daily Motion.

From the Nikki/Helen message board:
Time-stamped 12:33am, May 15th, which is, I believe, 7:33pm EST of May 14th (the time zone I'm in). I posted the OS short on our Daily Motion account at 4:22pm EST. So it took molsongrrl all of 3 hours to steal our video. Oh, I suppose she might have just figured out how to download the file from RogueFilms the same way RomanMachine did. But I don't apologize for raising my eyebrows at the timing. Nor do I apologize for shaking my head in disgust at the total lack of non-credit given to the FC, even it if she converted the file herself. Had it not been for the FC, this short may have never seen the light of day. It certainly wouldn't have found any life on mj.net! Of course, now that all the work has been done for them, there's NO reason it can't be put on mj.net immediately.
I won't hold my breath.
