Clough becomes new manager at Derby. Let's hope he can emulate his father ;D I heard it came down to either him or Roy Keane.

And so the new era begins.
Have you not got a jumping up and down like a mad fool smilie???
Cannot believe it. They even brought on the big guns and we still dominated. ;D
It will be brilliant for Nigel to start tomorrow with players who should be brimming with confidence.
Todd was a rock at the back. Commons was superb up front.
Mr TC is a little bit gutted because he didn't go. Cup games are not included in season tickets and it was £40 to have his own seat. He thought we'd get stuffed and hated Jewel and so didn't bother. It was too late to get a ticket. At least it was televised.
Mr Ferguson has just said MU were lucky not to lose 4 - 0.

Cheers. We'll need all your positive vibes in two weeks time. Shame we couldn't take at least a 2- 0 lead to Old Trafford.

Even if there were words to describe this, they would be insufficient. Although, if you were to ask my downstairs neighbors what they thought about it, I'm sure it would involve some kind of threat to me if I don't stop jumping up and down on their ceiling. ;D So you're a Liverpool fan then Romanmachine? Is that Steven Gerrard in your icon? Not that I know much about footie but his photo was all over the British papers(online) last week.

Well, looks like the EPL is going to come down to the wire, especially if Man City and Arsenal can do us a favour.
Poor Alan Shearer at Newcastle. I give him a lot of credit for being honest after today's loss at Anfield, though.
Interviewer: The goal (Liverpool's first) had a hint of being offside. What do you think? Shearer: Yeah, I thought it was, but it didn't decide the game.
Interviewer: Did you think Joey Barton deserved his red card? Shearer: Yes. Interviewer (floundering a bit because he wasn't expecting such a concise, honest answer): Have you spoken with him? Shearer: Yes. (Awkward pause by interviewer, 'til he decides to move on.)
And he smiled while the Kop sarcastically sang out, "Shearer! Shearer!" and "You should have stayed on the telly!"
Legend. Too bad he's stuck with the Toons.

Legend. Too bad he's stuck with the Toons. I was amazed he took them on when he did. It would have made sense to start afresh with Shearer once they've been relegated. I'm sure Mr Topcat will look forward to seeing Alan at PP next season Fingers crossed that Liverpool can snatch it from the bigheads of Old Trafford.

I know he keeps saying he won't, but I think he will. I'll say one thing for certain, though. Someone was taking the piss when they announced the news about an hour before April Fool's Day. As if there weren't enough reasons to laugh at Newcastle already. Fingers crossed!

Much as it pains me to say this, I think ManUre will win the league. I'm not sure about the Champions' league, though. Much will depend on Chelski and their ability to overcome Barça. I'd love Ars-en-al to beat MU tomorrow but... Some of us aren't "glory hunters" e.g. TC being a Rams supporter. I'm a Tykes follower and am absolutely "over the moon" that we beat Plymouth yesterday to, once again, hang on to our Championship status. ;D Who do you think will be relegated? I'll go for WBA, Boro & Hull, much as it upsets me to say so.
