Hi Irisor
Welcome to MJFC. It's a lovely site and we don't take ourselves too seriously. ;D

We've just spotted Mandana in a Tylenol commercial, and according to her agent, she is filming for Law and Order later this month. So to all our Brit members, can you keep an eye out for it over the coming months? Thanks for that, and thanks to Polly Walker for the news.

Brilliant news. To be honest, I'd come to the conclusion that Mandana had left the acting profession to concentrate on other things. Pleased I was wrong and looking forward to seeing her in Law & Order. Let's hope it is a meatier part than Silent Witness!

It's another Dr role. Dr Antonia Carey. No mention as to whether it's a recurring role or one episode affair.

I don't suppose you've read/heard when this might be airing? Sorry coolbyrne, not sure. If last year is anything to go by, it was filmed Nov/Dec and televised around June time. My suspicion is that it will be a one episode role. Can't imagine a recurring Doctor role in a police/court drama.

(Though Law & Order: SVU had a re-occurring guy over the years.) If she's a doctor of psychology though, that could be different. Both the original L&O and L&O:SVU had/have a psychologist who was a regular cast member. Alas, you're probably right, though. That being said, at least it's something!

Did you find that via the pollysagency twitter? I didn't see it. To me, it's worded as if it's a new series. NOT a one-time role on L&O:UK... unless that role is becoming a much larger role than we anticipate?

I'm not on twitter or this other site. It was purely a standard search and then I clicked on the cache button to see the full post. I agree about the wording suggesting a recurring role rather than one episode guest slot. Fingers crossed.

According to a tweet from Polly's Agency, the elusive Ms. Jones will be in the new Law & Order UK series, starting March 12 on ITV1. Now, going by the wording there, it's a little unclear if they mean she'll be in the actual episode that airs March 12th or just in the series that begins on that day. Either way, we know when and where to start looking for her, so heads up to everyone with access to ITV1! Those of us on the wrong side of the pond will just have to resort to drastic measures.

I was just about to post that it starts next Wednesday at 9pm. Caught tale end of an advert last night. Not sure whether to be downhearted because in an article I've just read it states one story is about the death of a psychiatrist!!!

Mandana is NOT listed in the cast for the first episode. Amusingly, though, the episode contains a character called Miranda Jones!
